Having voted weeks ago by mail, I don't have much in the way of inspirational polling stories to convey. I would, however, like to pass along the results of an important local vote: my son's second grade class.
It turns out that 19 of the 20 seven-year-olds in the class support Obama. (Among other votes today, they also indicated a preference for carrots, which narrowly beat out green beans as the class's favorite vegetable). Obama is clearly sweeping the youth vote (photo credit); let's hope
this group of second graders has their pulse on the election!
