Today IntLawGrrls welcomes our colleague Dr. Lisa Hajjar (right), Associate Professor and Chair of the Law & Society Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara.Lisa holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from American University, an M.A. in Arab Studies from Georgetown University, both in Washington, D.C., and a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. The most recent of her many publications is Human Rights: Critical Concepts in Political Science (Routledge 2008). She co-edited the 5-volume work with Drs. Richard Falk and Hilal Elver.
