Write On! "Compliance" @ ILA

(Write On! is an occasional item about notable calls for papers.) Proposals are being sought from practitioners, academics, and postgraduate students for the Annual Conference of the British Branch of the International Law Association, to be held April 15 & 16, 2010, at Oxford Brookes University. Conference theme is "Compliance."
Conference organizer, Dr. Dawn Sedman of the Oxford Brookes' Department of Law, writes:

The normative evolution, acceptance and development of international law continues, yet so too does the phenomenon of noncompliance. Papers are invited on the practical and theoretical issues raised by questions of compliance understood broadly, across all areas of international law.
Deadline for submission of abstracts of no more than 500 words is Friday, February 12. Submissions, accompanied by author’s name, e-mail address, and other contact details, should be e-mailed to Sedman at dsedman@brookes.ac.uk. Details here.
