The position's open now that its leader for the last 7 years, Professor Conor Gearty, is moving from the School's Department of Sociology, where the Centre is situated, to the School's Department of Law.
Sought are applicants with "a strong background in human rights, preferably from the discipline of Sociology, though otherwise qualified applicants from within the social sciences will be considered."
