On this day in ...... 2010 (today), is marked World Hemophilia Day. This year's theme, “The Many Faces of Bleeding Disorders: United to Achieve Treatment for All,” aims to aid people with hemophilia and related disorders. Initiated in 1989 on the anniversary of the birth of the founder of the World Federation of Hemophilia -- a man who himself suffered from the disease -- it now is marked in more than a hundred countries.
