ASIL award nominees sought

The Awards and Honors Committees of the American Society of International Law are seeking nominations for the following:
Certificates of Merit, given for scholarship that constitutions a "preeminent contribution to creative scholarship, a specialized area of international law, and/or high technical craftsmanship";
Manley O. Hudson Medal "for scholarship and achievement in international law";
Goler T. Butcher Medal (right; the medal's namesake is an IntLawGrrls foremother) "for outstanding contributions to the development or effective realization of international human rights law"; and
Certificate of Honorary Membership "for a non-U.S. citizen who has rendered distinguished contributions or service in the field of international law."
The deadline for scholarship award nominations is September 30, 2009; the deadline for honors nominations is August 31, 2009. Details here.
